is the mead hall headquarters of the companions. it is located up the stairs from the central plaza in whiterun. it was founded around the skyforge before whiterun even existed. the city itself built up around it. the entire building is an overturned viking-style ship.

the stables are located just outside the gates of whiterun.

an inn located in whiterun's market area. the inn has two stories split into multiple rooms. on the first floor there is the main hall, a small bedroom, and the kitchen. The second floor contains three bedrooms split across two areas.

in the city of whiterun, most of the people are warriors, huntsmen or mercenaries, so most of the shops sell armor or weapons, but some sell goods. the shops are as follows: the drunken huntsman, arcadia's cauldron, belethor's general goods, honningbrew meadery and warmaiden's.

the houses of whiterun are steady and comfortable, none of them very extravagant, but well enough.
