Nope. | [atrb=border,0,true] ☼ appearance Standing at five feet ten inches, Aldune is the breed of Khajiit known as the Suthay-rhat, a commonly found Khajiit species in Skyrim. He is covered in a grey fur, his stomach and neck being nearly white, along with some of his muzzle where his whiskers are, his chin, and around his eyes. He has stripes on the top of his head and neck, which disintegrate down his shoulders and back to form spots that carry down his body. His markings are similar to that of an ocelot. His eyes are a pale icy blue and he has tear-stain markings running down from the inside of his eyes. His ears are black with white spots on the back of them with white tufts of fur on the inside and two piercings on each ear, mirroring each other. One of the piercings is a golden hoop near the top of his ear and the other is near the middle but slightly lower. This piercing holds an earring with one of the lower canines from the sabre cat that he killed just outside of his home city. Said encounter also left him with a few scars on his left arm and peck. As far as hair goes, Aldune sports a black mohawk that runs from his forehead to his neck and stands about five to six inches tall. Aldune isn’t very hefty when it comes to muscle. He is thin and lithe, with strong, slender arms and small shoulders which aid in sneaking. His tail is long with strong spots all to the end where it meets with three horizontal stripes. Along with its longness, his tail is also slightly prehensile, and can only wrap around things but cannot pull with much strength. He can knock over things like bowls and goblets, but anything heavier would just stay put. ☼ armor / apparel - light armor Aldune has always, and will always, prefer light armor to heavy. He would rather go naked than to don heavy armor and weigh him down. Light armor gives him the edge, lets his escape routes remain open for any chance. His armor specifically is that of studded leather, with rabbit pelts hanging from the sides so his bags don’t rub his fur the wrong way. On his head is a ten-point stag skull situated so his ears can come through the eye holes. Draping down from it is the tawny pelt of the sabre cat that he nearly died trying to kill. He is very proud of this pelt and will try and keep it on his person at all times. - apparel Being a city kitty, Aldune keeps his fair share of clothes in a room at the inn in which he had taken residence. He doesn’t like to carry too many things on his person at any one time, seeing as this is just another burden. His wardrobe consists of a dark green tunic with white rabbit fur trimmings (with his pelt used as a cloak) and black breeches and boots, which serve as his fancy attire, and for casual clothes he wears a light tan tunic and dark brown breeches. He doesn't wear any jewelry other than his earrings. ☼ weapons - bow Aldune’s most prized possession (right next to the sabre cat pelt) is his bow. He grew up on regular hunting bows before he managed to get enough coin (legally or illegally is debatable) to buy himself an orcish bow on his seventeenth birthday. This is the bow that helped him slay the beast which he wears. He named the bow Sabre, for he wasn’t entirely in his right mind that night of his name day that he proclaimed he would kill a sabre cat, resulting in his lack of creativity. - daggers Aldune also carries some nice, sharp steel daggers at his side for his occasional close-combat brawl and his cut-purse work. These lack names and special stories other than that they were used to skin the sabre and he was given them as a gift from a local blacksmith for ‘narrowing down the competition’. ☼ skills - sneak As most Khajiit have this ability, it runs just as deep within Aldune’s veins as it does with any other of his species. He has quite a high sneaking ability and this also enables him to enjoy a little bit of pickpocketing every now and then. He really doesn’t like hand to hand combat unless really necessary, and sneaking is his best bet at avoiding such conflicts. - archery Another way to avoid conflict is by staying far enough away from the target that they can’t reach you before you shoot them between the eyes. Hence, Aldune took up archery as another skill. He uses it on rabbits, deer and the occasional fox or wolf just outside the city that he takes his residence in. He has struck people before, but he prefers not to. Stealing is much nicer than mindless killing, in his opinion. Unless its fish. - one-handed For those situations when he did get engaged in close combat, he does have some skill in dual-wielding daggers. It isn’t too honed, as he is more used to just slicing up coin purses and skinning animals. Sometime he practices on the hay-stuffed dummies in training yards, trying to hone his skills to be a little more than inadequate. - speech Because he was raised in a city and not out in the wilderness, Aldune was exposed to a lot of things others may not have. Since he was young, he really enjoyed reading. This allowed him to learn many things about his skills and how to speak eloquently. He doesn’t always like speaking ‘fancy’, but uses it mainly for bartering. He learned the hard way that one does not simply barter without the right smarts. ☼ history Growing up in a litter of three was no easy feat. Aldune was the middle child with two sisters, a mother and a father. They lived just outside of Solitude with his father selling his hunt and their mother selling Khajiit jewelry. They weren’t known to have such beautiful jewelry as Argonians did, but their mother managed to carve things into the bones of the deer and animals their father killed. They raised enough gold to buy a house inside of the city, something their father aspired to do ever since they had reached Solitude. He was a protective father, one that always wanted the best for his family. When Aldune grew into a teenager, his father began to take him hunting with his older sister. He was given his first bow at the age of fourteen, as well as an iron dagger to skin animals on his own. The young Khajiit boy was so excited that he ran out of the city and began his own hunting adventure. These weren’t very successful, and more than half of the time he would just be looking for arrows that he had lost. At age seventeen, he found himself out in the small forest area slightly further away than he usually ventured. He had paused by a stream to wash his dagger of the blood from the last kill when he heard shifting behind him. Before he has a chance to turn and draw his bow, two wolves jumped from the bushes and attacked him. He managed a slash at one wolf’s belly, spilling its entrails as it fell to the ground. The other, though, leaped forward and snapped at him. Aldune managed to grab his muzzle and hold it closed as the beast writhed in his grasp. Kicking it hard on the head as he let go, the Khajiit ran from the wolf. Unfortunately, he wasn’t nearly as fast as the creature and he was almost overtaken when his older sister pounced on the animal and struck it with a steel dagger. The wolf turned and bit her arm, making her scream in pain, before it died. Aldune helped her home and the whole family tried to tend to the wound as best they could, but it got an infection and she lost the lower part of her arm. Aldune has never let himself forget that, making this the turning point of his once-dismissive behavior turning into that of protectiveness over those that he loves. He became introverted and spent most of his time reading new books and learning about new things, knowing this pastime wouldn’t get anyone hurt. He left his home at the age of nineteen and moves between cities. His favorite place to go and hunt is Whiterun, for the fields that surround it have lots of deer, elk and rabbits, but lack large, carnivorous animals. The only time he ever sought out bigger, more dangerous game was when he was twenty-two and made a bet with someone at the inn that he could hunt and kill a sabre cat. Being drunk at the time, all of his precautions had flown out the door. He found the beast near Riften, knowing it was infamous for terrorizing the nearby farm animals. He perched on the rocks while it slept below. His hands were shaking with fright as he remembered his sister, but his pride was at stake, as well as his reputation. He struck it twice with some of the few steel arrows that he had, before the beast was at him. The horrendous claws caught his left shoulder and chest as he drove his daggers into its neck. He staggered back to the city, dragging the corpse behind him, before the people he made the bet with paid him off and rushed him to the healer. The slashes weren’t too deep, so it was an easy stitch up. The scars still remain on him. Since then, Aldune prefers much easier game, like unknowing citizens in the shadows. From age twenty to his current age, he had been honing his sneaking and stealing skills. He learned that it was much easier when the people of the city hardly knew you. ☼ personality First and foremost, Aldune is a flirt. Being pansexual, he’s no picky kitty. Sober or not, he will send out his cheesy lines and usually receive either a punch to the face or a simple rejection. It has become a norm for the Khajiit male, rejection. He knows his way around relationships, having already had his own fair share of the stuff. He can sometimes be a bit of an ass with the person he pursued, but is quick to get over things. If a relationship does ensue, he can get less flirty with others and more territorial of his partner. This surprised lots of people and left him single on much more than one occasion. Aside from being a total flirt and a territorial cat, Aldune is actually rather intelligent. He loves to read books and entertain himself with creating new ways to rob people, but he prefers to hide his intelligent side behind his flirty personality. His intelligence also leads him to being a crafty feline, something akin to his bartering skills, and he knows when he is being lied to. He, on the other hand, lies often, his secret lying in that of keeping a small part of it true and the rest make it up. Being the cunning cat that he is, Aldune has no problem coming up with lies on the spot. This is also an adaptation to avoiding the dreaded fist-fights. Aldune is also very lazy and selfish, as prefers to do things for himself and doesn’t like to venture from his primary route for some other person unless it’s a great benefit to him. He doesn’t really care for the opinions of others, whether it be good or bad, unless it’s a situation where he is trying to get in one’s pants. But, even then, it’s all for himself. This carefree, lazy nature makes it easy for him not to get riled up about who is going to win the war or the most recent insults that people could use on a Khajiit (most of them being very uncreative and he would end up sighing and shaking his head). ☼ likes - Chasing butterflies - Sneaking around places - Getting away with theft or a lie - Sunbathing - Belly rubs - Fish - Reading ☼ dislikes - Getting his fur rubbed in the wrong direction - Anything to do with water - Abandonment after developing a strong relationship - Getting caught thieving or lying - Loved ones getting hurt ☼ fears - Drowning - Not being able to escape - Wolves |
