WITCH, VAMPIRE OR WEREWOLF? (PUT N/A IF NONE) None! SEXUAL ORIENTATION . Heterosexual CANON (IF APPLICABLE) . Of course not | [atrb=border,0,true] SKILLS Destruction - Having been well trained in the use of magic along with a knack for it, Nariko has no problems with the use of destruction magic, and relies heavily on this in battle. Restoration - Hand in hand with knowing destruction magic is the use of restoration magic as well. Nariko is just as proficient at restoration magic as she is with destruction, and uses it while in battle if she's hurting or needs a bit of a boost. Archery - If you can't get up close and personal with the use of magic and need a little extra distance in your attacks, archery is a nice way to do so. Nariko isn't exactly an expert at the use of a bow, but she can get the job done if she needs to. Alchemy - True to her heritage, Nariko is adept at the use of an alchemy lab, and uses this when she needs a little extra healing or destruction than her magic use can give off. One handed - Even though she uses magic mostly, Nariko can also handle a blade if she needs to, and keeps her one handed in her sheath on her hips for a little extra backup. Though she can use one though, she lacks any sort of elegance with it, and lacks the precision that those as experts do. That being said, she can hold her own. Light armor - Nariko has never been one for a lot of needless weight on her body. She keeps her armor light and easy to sneak around with. WEAPONS AND ARMOR Steel sword - Despite normally wielding magic to fight, Nariko also can and does use a one handed sword to fight with. She can do so fairly well, though her approach to this lacks any sort of perfection of the skill. Mostly she simply hacks away - or tries. Elven Bow of scorching - When one has to fight from afar or wants to kill without being seen or heard, they usually have to resort to a bow. Nariko is no different. She can use a bow just as well as the next person, and though she doesn't rely on it heavily on this weapon, Nariko does use it when she needs to. Due to its enchantment, it will also burn someone for up to fifteen seconds. Elvish dagger - Nariko keeps a dagger on her at all times. It's handy in those situations where you must be quiet or you don't want to bring about needless attention to yourself. Nariko has managed to teach herself to throw these daggers with accuracy. Hide armor - Nariko likes to keep her armor light and without any sort of fanciness. And thus she has a nice set of hide armor. It may not give the best protection, but it does its job. She uses her restoration magic to counterbalance her lack of coverage. PERSONALITY Arrogant - Nariko has always been full of herself. No matter what her reasons for being such is, she has a large sense of herself and just how great she is. Though she obviously isn't so great as she thinks she is, Nariko has never had self-esteem issues. She's proud to be Breton, proud to be a mage, and proud to be bandit. Insolent - Since early childhood Nariko has had problems with authority. Her favorite saying is that 'rules are made to be broken', and follows that same quote for most of her own actions. She hates anyone telling her what she should do. When she was growing up it was because of this attitude perhaps that she began to run with the wrong crowd. Over time of course this attitude grew to the point where she resists any authority and runs wild. Sarcastic - Always one with a mouth on her, Nariko thinks whatever she says is highly important - much more so than most others - and has no trouble with speaking her mind. Often that includes making disparaging comments about another person that she deems as a somewhat low leveled functioning being. Willful - Obviously thinking her own ideas are great, Nariko is extremely stubborn about her own decisions and ideas. It doesn't matter who tells her the opposite, Nariko has a determination to do whatever the hell she wants, regardless of the consequences. Going hand in hand with this is a headstrong and obstinate personality, along with never admitting she's wrong. Passionate - Nariko is extremely passionate about things that she cares about. That, of course, has nothing to do with helping out the needy, hungry, elderly, or orphaned. A few of the things that she's passionate about though could come as somewhat of a surprise to most. Wild/Adventurous - Rules? Civilization? Nariko couldn't care less about these things. She has a raw wildness in her nature and a desire to roam the land. This girl is willing to take risks in order to try something new, and rarely ever turns down any sort of challenges. HISTORY Nariko was born in Daggerfall, but has no memory of her parents, who succumbed to fever when she was a small child. Instead Nariko was raised by her aging grandmother. Life was never bad for the young Breton. Though her and her grandmother were nowhere near rich, they were by no means hungry or lacking for anything that they really needed. Despite this, Nariko was always somewhat of a wild child. She hated to have her hair done, hated to get dressed up, hated even wearing shoes. It seemed like everything the grandmother would do, Nariko would fight tooth and nail, even as a young child. Even so, she was loved by the only real parental figure that she ever had. Wanting the best for her young granddaughter, the grandmother spent any extra money they had - or she could scrape together - on helping Nariko become proficient at magic. With a sort of natural potential and tutelage, she thrived off this learning, and became quite good at many magics. Unfortunately, though she enjoyed learning about these magics, her wild nature caused her to start hanging out with the 'wrong' crowd when she became a young teenager. Going through a rebellious phase, Nariko ignored everything that her grandmother said and continued to be part of the 'bad kids'. At first they didn't do anything bad. It was just a more wild attitude than her grandmother would have liked. But that went from bad to worse. It started with one robbery. Following the crowd, Nariko got swept up in what was happening and ended up helping to steal from a family in Daggerfall. Despite feeling guilty about what she'd helped to do, Nariko was torn by enjoying the money that she got from it. And though she told herself that she would stop at that one time, she once more got swept up in the situation with that crowd. The warnings she was given were completely ignored, and Nariko continued to be a part of the same crowd that eventually became the reason she left Daggerfall. Nothing can go on forever without being found out. Their group was found by those of authority. Facing a cell for the various crimes she had helped to commit, Nariko fled High Rock, eventually ending up in Skyrim. But old habits die hard. knowing nothing else but magic and her rather wild life, Nariko stumbled across a group of bandits in the first few days in Skyrim, who offered to take her in and feed her in return for helping them the next day. That turned out to be helping them raid a local farm, and thus her life as a bandit was settled in Skyrim as well. |
