Come on now people. Let's get on the ball and work together. Come on, come on, let's work together When relationships “bloom”, they’re “planted” here. MARCUS ARTORIUS listed relationships first middle last - description of relationship here.

Marcus is a staunch supporter of speaking softly and carrying a big stick. Despite his reputation for being ruthless on the battlefield, he does support the notion of diplomacy and will actively make an attempt at it. Though, if he can see that it won’t work in the situation, he is just as likely to extend his sword for battle as he was to extend his arm for peace. Similarly, Marcus believes that the best way to win the Civil War is to win the hearts of the people, which he knows is going poorly. He takes it upon himself to make public appearances and spread the image of a friendly and helpful Empire. He understands that if they don’t receive any support throughout Skyrim, the cause would be lost. On a personal level, Marcus can come off as being rough and uncouth (which is just a fancier way of saying hardass), but he is a friendly and loyal person… if he has warmed up to them first. Otherwise, expect to see rough and uncouth a lot. It takes a bit to have Marcus warm up to you. He doesn’t expect people to jump through hoops trying to impress him and he doesn’t want a sycophant following him around. If you are real to him, he’ll at the very least respect you for it, even if he doesn’t like what you have to say. friends,For those of you lucky enough to break past Marcus’s shell that is his exterior, congratulations. You have earned yourself a loyal friend that will have your back if you need it and tell you what exactly is on his mind. All he expects is the same in return. enemies,You’ve done it now. Whatever you did pissed Marcus off and now he hates you for it. Try your best to stay away from him and you might just make out of an encounter alive. lovers,Funny. You’ve fallen in love with Marcus… wait, really? Even though, and this is his last lover saying it not me, he’s a “suicidal maniac that is going to get [himself] and everyone [he] loves killed in the most ridiculous fashion possible”? If that’s the case, he will go into his final breath to protect you. |

Derrick and Marcus Well Derrick is my only Imperial person. (It's called having a million Nords running around) He's more intelligence/scout because he really doesn't like authority much. He's been obtaining information about the Stormcloak's deep in the heart of Riften territory recently, and probably would have a lot to tell on positions of camps and such. He could have been called back in to give all his information and has to talk to Marcus about it? He's not exactly...uh...good about taking orders, so he might be a little lippy toward the poor guy. But you know, that's why he needs someone to boss him around a little more! Failde and Marcus Okay so as I was thinking, I remembered I'd just made a Thalmor 8'D Well...kind of a worthless one, but whatever! He's basically an intelligent derp Altmer from Solitude that was forced into joining the ranks of a Thalmor by his parents and follows Elenwen around shining her boots to avoid her wrath. I'm guessing Marcus would want to strangle him if he ever had to spend more than two minutes with the guy (if he could even make it that long) but I'd always be up for more threads with Failde XD I guess I didn't have any specific ideas, but he might have to pass on some information that Elenwen tortured out of some poor Stormcloak? And probably complain for a half hour about the tiny smudge of dirt he got on his boots on the way to see Marcus.

MARCUS AND DERRICK I like this idea. I’m not sure how Marc would appreciate Derrick’s rogue-like tendencies or his sarcastic tongue, but he would love to get the information on the camps. Hell, he probably would want Derrik to show them to him so he could see the enemy fortifications himself. Then things, obviously would go to hell. MARCUS AND FAILDE While I don’t have much in mind for a thread idea just yet, I would love to see these two interact with one another. Maybe we could convince Kent to toss in Elenwen in a thread where Marcus visits the Embassy to receive information from her and unintentionally manages to piss Failde off by touching everything, spreading his germs everywhere. That could get interesting quick.

these two i see can either get along rather well or dislike each other very much. mjoll is neutral in this war, but she sympathises with stormcloaks. however, aside from that they seem to follow the same rules in life; to try and do the right thing. for that reason i see them being close. i don't know why he would be in riften, but still! maybe we should just throw them in a thread and see what happens!

MARCUS, MJOLL AND DERRICK While this is technically Taiya's idea that I'm stealing for my own, I think that it would work out if we combined the two thread ideas where Derrick takes Marcus on a wild adventure recon mission to scope out a Stormcloak camp near Riften where they could meet Mjoll through circumstances. What those circumstances are, I have no idea.
