titania has never been much of a fighter. her brief lessons at the college of winterhold have left her to favor magic over melee, and even so, her restoration magic is her strongest skill thus far. like her mother was before her untimely death, titania is a talented alchemist, making potions for gold on the side. her conjuration is also one of titania's strengths, thanks to the breton's natural affinity for that particular school of magic. she's a good speaker, when given the chance to speak, quite eloquent and persuasive, and able to express herself clearly thanks to her upbringing in the court of winterhold. she usually relies on her speech to get her out of trouble, either by confusing aggressors or persuading them to leave her alone. her other schools of magic, illusion, alteration and destruction, are well practiced, but with lack of use, they take more effort for the breton girl to call upon them. it's her goal to improve them more, but with her handmaiden duties, it's hard to find the time. --

titania has always had to live with being small. she was an early birth, and it was a miracle she survived, but she did. at the cost of not growing as big as her elder brother. even for a breton, she's slight and very petite. she's always mistaken for being younger than she actually is.

∇ born in the shack her father owned outside whistling mine in the winterhold. she was the second of two children born to her parents. --
∇ her older brother, who is six years older than titania, was raised to be a miner. titania assumed she would help her mother with the business side of things, but before she had the chance, whistling mine was depleted of ore and her family headed north-west to winterhold itself. --
∇ upon arriving, titania's family sold what ore they could and began to rent a room in the frozen hearth. it wasn't much, but it would do before their gold ran out. --
∇ titania accompanied her father when he appealed to the jarl for some compensation for the loss of his only income. it was then that titania met rosalind, who was to become titania's closest friend. --
∇ only days later, the jarl proposed a deal. his daughter had enjoyed titania's company so much that the nord girl wanted titania as a companion and handmaiden. in recompense, the jarl would find titania's father work within the court of winterhold. --
∇ the deal was agreed to, and titania moved out of the room she shared with her family and into the jarl's longhouse. --
∇ life as a handmaiden was a lot for titania to take in at first. she went with rosalind to all her lessons, and as she aged, ania proved herself to be a talented, and intelligent young lady. she was almost able to keep up with rosalind, despite being almost three years younger. --
∇ she truly found her calling upon accompanying rosalind to the college of winterhold. not having much use for magic beforehand, titania quickly adapted to the life of being an apprentice mage, her heritage and natural affinity for such things coming into play. --
∇ but before she could advance in ranks within the college, the jarl found titania's lady a suitor and the pair were to move to winterhold. a small part of titania wanted to remain at the college and close to her family, but her duty was with the lady rosalind, and so, she moved into dragonsreach with rosalind and her husband-to-be. --
∇ whiterun and dragonsreach was far larger than her home, and at first, titania was very disorientated and a little miserable. she was so far away from her family, and although she loved rosalind like a sister, she just wanted to go home. --
∇ but rosalind's wedding changed all of that. it was the most beautiful thing titania had ever witnessed, and seeing rosalind happy did wonders to her. instead of brooding about home, titania began to write letters back to winterhold. upon the reply, she discovered her brother had returned to whistling mine, her father was doing very well for himself and he had bought her mother a house in winterhold. things had taken a turn for the better. --
∇ slowly but surely, titania befriended the other servants working in dragonsreach, becoming fast friends with rosalind's other ladies in waiting and many of the kitchen workers. --
∇ however, a year or so later after sending her first letter home, titania received a package. enclosed was a letter and a large ruby amulet. she didn't have to read her father's writing to know her mother had passed away. it was the only time since her lady's wedding that titania regretted being so far away from her family. --
∇ hearing that the city was potentially under threat of being attacked by a dragon was one of the scariest/ most exciting things titania had ever witnessed. it was like all the childhood stories her brother had made up come to life. it wasn't until she was standing by her lady's side, dressed in armor and ready to fight, that the reality of the situation truly hit her. --
∇ since the fall of the dragon, titania's taken more care to experience all that she can within the walls of whiterun. she'd return home if she could, just for a brief visit, but her place is by rosalind's side and her adventuring is limited to listening to the stories of travelers who make their way into the bannered mare. it's not much, but hearing the stories from those who roam the wilderness of skyrim is enough to tide her over for the time being.
