Centuries ago, two Black Jeweled Queens started a war between the Realms. A war that destroyed the land and sent many to return to the Darkness. A war that was started because each woman wanted to be the sole possessor of the title of Queen of Ebon Askavi and not only in her own Realm. Because the two Queens involved were long-lived, the war raged on for centuries and the destruction and casualties kept multiplying. It was only until the Living Myth was born and unleashed the power of her Jewels to destroy these ambitious Ladies and their courts that the war finally ended.
It has now been nearly over five centuries since the war has ended. The Shadow Realm is still recovering. So many lives have been lost and even worse, because the war was fought mostly in Kaeleer, the land is in need of a healing greater then the Queens can provide without endangering their own lives. As for Terrielle, the people find themselves with the same dilemma as before the war began; in the past Hayll dominated the Realm of Light because it was their Queen who had worn the Black. There is no Black in Hayll, but that hasn't deterred the children of the Black Jeweled Queen. One child seeks to control the Realms as High Queen of Terrielle; her other child seeks to destroy Blood hierarchy and place males above the distaff gender. The Realm is splintered because of their actions and it seems that war is eminent again once more.
Will war plague the Realm of Terrielle once more? Will it spread to Kaeleer? Can the Blood survive another MAELSTROM INTO THE ABYSS?
